EDGEWORTH NURSING REVIEW CENTER MUDSTAINS ANSWERED.

AN APPEAL TO THOSE WHO HAVE HEARD MUDSTAINS
AGAINST EDGEWORTH REVIEW AND EDUCATIONAL CENTER

This statement is to straighten out issues who have been spread through grapevine communications utilizing different media like nursing blogsites, online communities, mobile texts, or just what seemed to be usual conversations with the sources.

These issues have been maliciously and intently spread due to personal interests of unscrupulous sources ( who are terminated employees and suspended or terminated lecturers of EDGEWORTH ). Consequently, blown out of proportion by review center competitors who seized the opportunity to degrade our good reputation in this saturated industry.

EDGEWORTH is not a well known review center. We don’t and can’t spend much on marketing. We don’t aspire to get thousands of reviewee-students and get rich. EDGEWORTH REVIEW AND EDUCATIONAL CENTER exists for 8 years now from an advocacy of quality nursing education deeply rooted from mushrooming of nursing schools producing less skilled, less knowledgeable nurses. But when other review centers felt our great concern for nurses as apparent on how we differentiate ourselves from them ( absolutely free tutorial sessions, extended review hours, individual guidance and counselling ) and through our tradition of not less than 92% passing rate; they start noticing us and grab any opportunity to put us down. They used our previous employees and defunct lecturers to mudstain our program director’s name and capacity, our management strategies, our stakeholders, our tested innovative program, and our existence.

The management of EDGEWORTH REVIEW AND EDUCATIONAL CENTER appeals and corrects the following issues so the general nursing population and the public may know:

Issue 1. Edgeworth is gone.
We are still in full and active operations. We lay low for the past 2 seasons because we are on the process of institutionalizing our center. So we busy ourselves on formulating new protocols and standards comparable to the level of ISO 9001 ( on top of what has been required by CHED). We clean up our ranking files to hire a more top graded people who can provide the quality of review and training services we intend to deliver. Review technologies, forms, formats, templates, and the likes are also modified to suit local and global demands. Additional operational departments, giving emphasis on market need-demand research activities, are also established to regularly and continuously innovate our review programs and services; hence, offer a more responsive, positive results. Our lecturers were also re-screened, re-evaluated, and re-trained for them to ultimately exceed our reviewee-clientele expectations of witty, fun-learning review sessions. We refined individual tasks of each of our people so they can perform according to their maximum capacity and give optimum customer service experience. And the good news is, to date, we are the first and only review center that has been approved and granted the name “INSTITUTE OF NURSING REVIEW”; thus, you will notice that our name would be EDGEWORTH’S INSTITUTE OF NURSING REVIEW.

Issue 2. Edgeworth is disorganized.
Edgeworth is disorganized when our previous staffs do not follow prescribed operational protocols. Upon investigation, the very reason why it has not been found out earlier by the management is because of covering up by their ally co-employees, misleading and distorted reports, manipulative strategies, undocumented incidents, denials, and personal reasoning-out. These people are terminated and is now doing some mudstaining job against us, as exploited by their present employer, who are our competitors. We are the only review center who has value chains, operation manual, employment manual, review manual, training manual, and the likes. We have these to maintain our best practices and well managed culture.

Issue 3. Edgeworth’s best lecturers are gone.
Our lecturers are being evaluated on a per review session basis. If their appraisal, between 0-10 when 10 is the highest, is averaging 6-7, they are immediately retrained or verbally reminded. And if they perform poorly for 3 consecutive sessions, then we let them go. Some others are not exlusively in contract with us. While a number possess a “ diva” attitude which is unbecoming of them. On the other hand, others prefer that they stand on their feet at our expense or have been pirated with higher monetary gains on their part. We would firmly stick to our advocacy than our personal interest. But, rest assured that the value and values of each lecturer that we exposed is higher than industry culture.

Issue 4. Edgeworth’s review is not good.
We challenge those who said this to check PRC statistics of review centers’ performance or audit our records and compare it from that of our competitors. We pride ourselves to passing rate not less than 92% for the past 8 years of our operations. We have produced 26 board topnotchers. And we have 3 file 500- page logbooks of student testimonials who can proved how happy they are and how satisfied with our review.

Issue 5. Jerome B. Mansibang, the Review Program Director, is no longer in Edgeworth.
Professor Jerome Mansibang is still in EDGEWORTH REVIEW AND EDUCATIONAL CENTER. And will remain its REVIEW AND ACADEMIC DIRECTOR. He’s been handling review sessions as opposed to the dirty rumors. He had currently finish a book manual entitled “ Philippine Competency-Based nursing, a review and practice book manual” which has all nursing subjects and concepts needed for actual practice and board licensure examination. This book will be released and launched on last week of August, 2010 by EDGEWORTH Publications.

Issue 6. Only Professor Jerome Mansibang is handling the final coaching.
We cannot trust the confidentiality of our final coaching materials to anybody but Professor Jerome Mansibang only. These FINAL COACHING materials are products of a well guided research of our special review core team members from UP-Manila, UST, FATIMA, LA SALLE, PLM, and SILIMAN UNIVERSITY. We protect it against those review centers who only rely from others in terms of materials to be used. We are the only review center with materials registered to National Library that carries an assigned ISBN.

Issue 7. Edgeworth’s customer service is poor.
We have been known for 8 years, not by test leakage nor extravagant shows nor thousand reviewees; but, through our customer care and review materials quality and reliability. Our integrity relies on professionalism, code of ethics, and best practices.

Issue 8. Edgeworth’s review fee is lower because of poor quality.
When we specify our review rate, we research on competitors’ offer, Philippines GNP, and how much our reviewee clientele could afford with the present economic status and global crisis. We also taken into consideration our would-be FREEbies, prescribed and extended review hours, and some other expenses. Our rate is the most justified rate within the industry. Anything higher than that is a highly visible intent of others to do just business and not REAL HELP.

Hope these clarify their mudstaining strategies. EDGEWORTH REVIEW AND EDUCATIONAL’s prayer is that graduate and student-nurses, be more critical when they heard of an obvious mudstaining talks.
